The air temperature has dropped, the trees have changed colour and beautiful, bright leaves are dancing through the air - that means it's time to unpack the winter wardrobe - away go the flimsy blouses and skimpy tops and out come the thick knitwear and coats. Another sign the chilly season is upon us is one very big and very well-known coffee house chain, which shall remain nameless, offering every single thing on their menu in a \"pumpkin spice\" variety. October\/November is pumpkin time - another sign that we have firmly arrived in autumn.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Schon von Kind an \u2013 seit den lustigen oder drohenden K\u00fcrbisk\u00f6pfen \u2013 geh\u00f6rt das Gem\u00fcse zum Herbst wie das Sahneh\u00e4ubchen auf die hei\u00dfe Schokolade oder der Zimt auf die Chai Latte. Zimt und Latte spielen auch in meiner neuesten Kreation eine wichtige Rolle. Denn ich habe meinen hei\u00dfgeliebten K\u00fcrbis mal nicht im Ofen geschmort oder zu Suppe verarbeitet; nein, ich habe ihn s\u00fc\u00df gekocht und einen feinen s\u00fc\u00dfen K\u00fcrbis-Gew\u00fcrzbrei daraus gezaubert. Dieser Brei ist zudem vielf\u00e4ltig einsetzbar. Einmal in einem S\u00fc\u00dfen Pumpkin Loaf (das Rezept findest du ebenfalls bald hier), oder als M\u00fcsli-Topping zum Fr\u00fchst\u00fcck, zum L\u00f6ffeln zwischendurch oder, noch viel besser, in einer selbstgemachten Pumpkin Spiced Latte. Meist hilft da eine Matcha- oder eine Kurkma-Latte und nun ganz neu eine Pumpkin Spiced Latte. K\u00fcrbis in der Latte! Klingt komisch? Vielleicht ja, aber ich verspreche euch: sie schmeckt himmlisch s\u00fc\u00df, w\u00e4rmt von innen und macht durch den Espresso Shot munter und wach.<\/p>\n<p>Viele, die mich und meine Rezepte kennen, wissen, dass ich so gut wie nie tierische Milch trinke. Erstens bin ich der Meinung, dass ich sie nicht so gut vertrage und zweitens stehe ich total auf alle pflanzlichen Milchalternativen. Angefangen von Mandeldrink \u00fcber Hafer-, bis hin zu Haselnuss, oder Reis- und Sojadrinks. F\u00fcr die Latte habe ich den Alpro Hafer Drink verwendet.
