Green Smoothie for Workaholics
A few months ago, I received an exciting, nutrition-related request - to photograph green smoothies in all their variety for nutritionist Roman Firnkranz's first book.
The shoot couldn't have be any healthier. I took all the pictures for Roman's book, which contains 30 amazing smoothie recipes, all with seasonal variations, for your very own 30-day challenge, whereby you drink one green smoothie a day: as an in-between snack or even a meal substitute. According to Roman, every day you drink a green smoothie, you will feel better, fitter and healthier.
More information on the 30-day challenge and even more delicious smoothie recipes are to be found on his website.
And today I will feature one of my favourite smoothies, one I particularly like to drink during those extra stressful times. It contains matcha, which not only wakes you up and gets you going, but which also counts among the so-called superfoods, as it's chock-full of antioxidants.
